Miss Moody’s Tea Room

Miss Moody’s Tea Room is open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea

Opening Hours:

Saturdays: 10am-3pm with last orders at 2.30pm

Miss Moody, the last owner of Moody’s Gunshop, ran a traditional English Tea Room both before and after the Second World War.

Today we continue that tradition in Miss Moody’s Tea Room; visitors enjoy the old-fashioned pleasure of traditional bone-china teacups as well as the delights of homemade cakes, scones, and light lunches, and we endeavour to use locally grown produce in as many dishes as possible. The tea room welcomes small children and is wheelchair accessible.

Miss Moody’s Tea Room boasts two indoor rooms in our Tudor Cottage which are open all year round, as well as tables outside in a picturesque Victorian garden, which are open during the Spring and Summer months.
